Although they both have roughly the same number of features, the Uppababy Vista is designed with more high quality materials and high-end technologies that give it a fairly higher quality but a more heavy price tag.

Uppababy Vista vs Britax B Ready G3 – Features

Single to Double Stroller: both the Uppababy Vista and the B Ready G3 can be transformed from a single to a double stroller. You can easily attach a second seat to the stroller seat for a second baby! Note: the additional stroller seat needs to be bought separately for both strollers.

Car Seat Compatible: Both strollers are car seat compatible. You can easily attach any of the Britax infant car seats to the B Ready G3 stroller frame and the Uppababy Mesa infant car seat to the Uppababy Vista stroller frame. They both have an easy click-in feature that allows you to simply click-in the car seats without needing an adapter.

As a bonus, both strollers are also compatible with car seats from other brands! The B Ready G3 is compatible with infant car seats from major brands like Britax, Chicco, Nuna, and Maxi Cosi. You only need to purchase a car seat adapter, that allows you easily attach the car seat to the stroller frame. The Uppababy Vista Asli has a car seat adapter that allows you to attach car seats from other brands. Note: for both strollers, the car seats and car seat adapter have to be purchased separately.

I find the car seat adapters to be a great feature because if you already have a car seat from another brand – as a gift, or from a previous child, you won’t have to buy a new one!

Bassinet Stroller: Apart from being car seat compatible, both strollers are also bassinet compatible! By replacing the stroller seat with a bassinet, you transform your stroller into a stylish pram for your newborn. This gives you even more options for riding the stroller!

As a bonus, the bassinet is already included in the price of the Uppababy Vista, but for the B Ready G3, you have to purchase it separately.

Britax B Ready Bassinet

Newborn Stroller: Although you cannot directly use the stroller seat for either strollers for your newborns. You can easily replace the stroller seat with an infant car seat or bassinet.  These two options allow you to safely carry your newborn aboard both strollers.

Multi-Position Recline and Adjustable Footrest: the stroller seats for both the Uppababy Vista and B Ready G3 can be adjusted into multiple positions. From sitting upright to laying horizontally in an almost flat recline. This full recline option is great and convenient for your kid to take naps.

The strollers also have an adjustable footrest that provides more comfort and room for your baby to rest their legs while sleeping. Strollers without this feature leave your kids feet dangling uncomfortably while they nap.

5-Point Harness: in terms of safety, both strollers have a 5-point harness system that keeps your baby safely strapped into the stroller seat. A bonus feature for the UPPAbaby Vista harness is that the harness can be adjusted to fit the height of smaller or taller kids. This means once your baby is older the harness doesn’t become too tight or uncomfortable.

Reversible Stroller Seat: lastly, the stroller seats for both the Uppababy Vista and B Ready G3 strollers can be adjusted to be either forward or backwards facing. I like this feature because it gives you even more options for riding your stroller!

And in the double stroller mode, the Uppababy Vista also allows the second seat to be adjusted to be either forward or backwards facing. This option is unfortunately not applicable to the B Ready G3, the second seat only stays in the forward facing position.

Stroller Fold: Although the fold for each stroller is not so compact, they both fold up very quick and easy. The B Ready G3 folds up in two steps, while the Uppababy Vista has a quick-fold feature that lets you fold up the stroller in a single step.

Both strollers also fold up into a self-standing position making them easier to store without worrying about them toppling over.

Adjustable Handlebar: Both strollers have a height adjustable handlebar! The handlebars for the Uppababy Vista and B Ready G3 can be adjusted to fit the height of the parent handling the stroller. This is nice for tall and short parents, where you can have the handlebar adjusted to the height of the parent handling the stroller.

Uppababy Vista vs Britax B Ready G3 – Wheels

The Uppababy Vista has nice large all-terrain wheels that give you and your baby a smooth ride over all terrain. In comparison, the B Ready G3 stroller also has nice riding wheels, but they do not move as smoothly as the Uppababy Vista over grassy or bumpy terrain.

Both strollers however include lockable swiveling front wheels that help with easy maneuvering and make rounding corners quite easy.

Lastly, they also have all-wheel suspension systems that help to give you and your baby a nice smooth ride. The suspension system helps to prevent your stroller from bumping around when moving or going over small bumps.

Uppababy Vista vs Britax B Ready G3 – Weight & Capacity

In terms of weight, the Uppababy Vista is lighter than the B Ready G3. It weighs around 27 lbs which is not too bad for a full-size stroller. On the other hand, the B Ready G3 is slightly heavier at 30 lbs. Which is considered quite heavy even for a full-size stroller.

Uppababy Vista Stroller Weight: 26.6 lbs

Britax B Ready G3 Stroller Weight: 30 lbs

In addition, the Uppababy Vista can carry up to 50 lbs while the B Ready G3 can carry up to 55 lbs. This makes it suitable for big/older toddlers – even 5 to 6 year olds.

Uppababy Vista vs Britax B Ready G3 – Dimensions

Both strollers are quite similar in dimensions however, the B Ready G3 is slightly more compact than the Uppababy Vista when unfolded:

Unfolded Dimensions:

  • Uppababy Vista – 36″ L x 25.7″ W x 39.5″ H
  • B Ready G3 – 44″ L x 24″ W x 43.25″ H

But when folded, the Uppababy Vista folds up a bit more compactly, making it easier to store in your car or carry with you..

Folded Dimensions:

  • Uppababy Vista – 33.3″ L x 25.7″ W x17.3″ H
  • B Ready G3 – 42″ L x 24″ W x 19″ H

Uppababy Vista vs Britax B Ready G3 – Basket

In terms of stroller basket size and its carrying capacity, both strollers have a fairly large stroller basket. The Uppababy Vista basket has a carrying capacity of up to 30 lbs! You can carry all your on-the-go items without needing a second bag.

The B Ready G3 also has a large stroller, but one thing I found not to like is the net fabric around the basket. This can easily get torn or damaged compared to a full textured fabric if you’re not very careful!

Uppababy Vista vs Britax B Ready G3 – Canopy

If you’re looking for a nice large canopy with your stroller, then both strollers are there for you. The B Ready G3 has a large extendable canopy that helps to provide enough cover and protect your kid against harsh weather.

On the other hand, the Uppababy Vista has a large, UPF50, sun-proof canopy that helps protect your kid against harmful UV-rays. This sets the Uppababy Vista a bit apart from the B Ready G3.

They both however, have really nice looking, great quality fabric compared to most strollers on the market.

Colors

In terms of variety, both strollers have a few color options you can choose from. The Uppababy Vista has up to 6 color options – Black, Grey, Green, Pink, White, and Blue. This gives you the option to choose a color that suits you best. On the other hand, the B Ready G3 has about 5 color options – Grey, Navy Blue, Ash, Green and Black. You get to choose a color that’s more to your liking!

Pros and Cons

After reviewing both strollers, here is an overview of the pros and cons of each stroller.

Uppababy Vista Stroller

Pros
  • Great design and quality fabric
  • Can convert from single to double stroller
  • Has adjustable handlebar for all heights
  • All-terrain wheels rides really smoothly
  • Easy steering and maneuverability
  • Great for newborns and older toddlers
  • Car seat and bassinet compatible
  • Bassinet included in the price
Cons
  • Really pricey
  • Fold is not too compact

The Uppababy Vista barely has any Cons. Only obvious Con is it’s really high price of almost $1000. The other Con is it’s fold. It doesn’t fold so compactly meaning you need more room to store it. And if you have a small car, it might not fit in your trunk.

Britax B Ready

Pros
  • Can convert from single to double stroller
  • Has adjustable handlebar for all heights
  • Great for newborns and older toddlers
  • Car seat and bassinet compatible
  • Wheel suspension system for smooth ride
  • Basket accessible from front and rear
Cons
  • Quite heavy at 30 lbs
  • Doesn’t have all-terrain wheels
  • Stroller fold is quite bulky

The Britax B Ready G3 is a really great, more affordable alternative to the Uppababy Vista stroller. It does not have the luxury materials and designs as the Uppababy Vista, but it includes almost all the features it has. It also has a lot of pros and the only cons are: the fabric quality, the fact that the accessories like the adapter and bassinet need to be bought separately, the bulky fold, and lack of all-terrain wheels.

Conclusion- Uppababy vs Britax

And that’s it for a full Uppababy vs Britax review! The Uppababy Vista and the Britax B Ready G3 are both top quality strollers for everyday use. However, if you’re looking for a luxury style top quality stroller, then the Uppababy Vista is the best option for you.
