Mia Moda Atmosferra Stroller Review

– the complete Mia Moda Atmosferra Stroller Review!

YSG Rating: 3.9 out of 5 stars (3.9 / 5)

Weight: 30.5 lbs

The Mia Moda Atmosferra is an old model everyday stroller for big newborns and toddlers. It is unfortunately no longer available in stores at the moment. So as an alternative, I’d recommend you have a look at more recent and better quality strollers – the Graco Verb Stroller and the Bravo LE Quick Fold Stroller:

Graco Verb Stroller

Bravo LE Quick Fold Stroller

These are both new model strollers and of great quality. They are both car seat compatible strollers for both newborns and toddlers for everyday use.

On the other hand, if you’re considering getting the Mia Moda Atmosferra for free or as a second hand product, then this review tells you all you need to know about the stroller!

Mia Moda Atmosferra Stroller Features

Newborn Stroller: The Atmosferra stroller is not car seat compatible or carrycot compatible however, it has a newborn feature that allows you to carry your newborn aboard the stroller. The stroller seat can be reclined and adjusted to carry a newborn aboard the stroller. This means you can use the stroller from the birth of your child till they are older.

Reversible Seat: The Mia Moda Atmosferra has a reversible seat feature that allows the stroller seat to be adjusted to either forward facing or backwards facing. You can have your child facing you at the rear of the stroller or facing outwards. Gives you even more options for riding the stroller!

Multi-Position Recline: In addition, the stroller seat is able to recline into multiple positions. The stroller seat has an almost flat recline that lets your baby lay back comfortably. You can have your baby sitting upright or laying back for a nap.

Adjustable Footrest: For added comfort, the stroller seat also includes an adjustable footrest that gives your kid some leg support while riding the stroller. This is also great for naps as it is more convenient to not have your kid’s feet dangling while taking a nap.

5-Point Harness: in terms of safety, the stroller seat has a 5-point harness that helps to keep your baby safely strapped to the stroller seat. As babies tend to move around while you’re not paying full attention, the harness makes sure they are safely strapped into the stroller seat during a ride!

All Wheel Suspension System and Lockable Swiveling Wheels: In terms of ease of maneuvering and giving a smooth ride, the Atmosferra is one of the best! It has lockable swiveling front wheels that makes it easy to maneuver. And the shock absorbing all-wheel suspension system helps to give you and your baby a smooth and bump-free ride.

Adjustable Handlebar: The Mia Moda Atmosferra has an adjustable handlebar that lets you adjust the handlebar to the height of the parent using the stroller. This makes it great for small and tall parents as it allows you to easily adjust the handlebar to fit the height of either parent! It also saves you the backache or shoulder pain from having to hunch over or push at an uncomfortable position.

Self-Standing Quick Fold: the stroller also has a quick fold feature that lets you fold it up quickly and easily. It folds up into a nice self-standing position that makes it easy to store.

Storage Basket: in terms of storage, the stroller includes a large rear-accessible basket for storing your on-the-go items. You can carry your diapers, bottles, toys or snacks while on-the-go.

Child Tray and Cup Holder: the stroller has a child tray and cup holder that gives your baby room to hold snacks, toys and a bottle while riding aboard the stroller.

Extendable UPF50 Stroller Canopy: Another great part of the Mia Moda Atmosferra Stroller is its large extendable canopy that provides your kid with enough cover. It also has a nice sunproof, UPF50 canopy that helps to protect your baby from harmful UV rays.

Child’s Weight: Although the stroller is quite heavy at 30.5 lbs, it can only carry up to 40 lbs of child weight. This is quite small compared to most full-size strollers. And it means your baby would have to give up the stroller sooner than later.

Mia Moda Atmosferra Stroller Reviews

Before making a buying decision, it is always nice to review the Pros and Cons of the stroller. Here is a short overview of the Mia Mods Atmosferra stroller for you:

  • All-wheel suspension system: shock-absorbing suspension system for smooth rides
  • Quick and easy self-standing fold
  • Adjustable handlebar for all heights
  • Child tray with cup holder
  • Reversible seat for forward or backward facing

  • Not car seat compatible
  • Not suitable for big kids/toddlers
  • Heavy at 30 lbs

The Mia Moda has a few nice features like the all-wheel suspension system and height adjustable handlebar. However, it also has quite a number of Cons that unfortunately offsets the Pros. The stroller is not car seat compatible, so it also can’t be used for newborns. And weighing 30 lbs, it is quite heavy even for a full-size stroller. This makes it hard to carry especially for smaller parents. Lastly, the stroller has a max capacity of just 40 lbs. This is quite small compared to most full-size strollers and also means you’d have to give up the stroller sooner than later.

Lastly, in terms of feedback and reviews from parents who also purchased and used the stroller, a lot of them unfortunately didn’t have a lot of nice things to say:

  • Adjustable handlebar
  • Large wheels for multiple terrains
  • Child tray with cup holder
  • Large adjustable canopy
  • Stroller seat too small
  • Heavy weight
  • Flimsy and light fabric
  • Not car seat compatible

There were quite a few negative feedbacks for the Mia Moda Atmosferra. A lot of parents were quite disappointed with the quality of the stroller especially how it looks and the materials used for the stroller.

The stroller was also reviewed as quite heavy especially with the wheels on. And the stroller seat being quite small and only convenient for smaller kids/toddlers.

Based on the stroller features and parent reviews, the Mia Moda Atmosferra Stroller gets:

Overall Rating:  3.9 out of 5 stars (3.9 / 5)

Price for Quality: 3.9 out of 5 stars (3.9 / 5)

Lightweight: 3.7 out of 5 stars (3.7 / 5)

Ease of Use and Maneuverability: 3.8 out of 5 stars (3.8 / 5)

Features: 4.2 out of 5 stars (4.2 / 5)

There are more modern design and quality strollers now available on the market. If you’re looking for a stroller with similar features but with better ratings and quality, I’d recommend you check out the Graco Verb stroller – a super affordable and lightweight option, or the Bravo LE Quick Fold.

Conclusion –  Mia Moda Atmosferra Stroller Review

Unfortunately the Mia Moda Atmosferra is no longer available in stores, and is a really old model stroller. So unless you’re getting the stroller for free, I won’t advise you to spend money on it even as a second-hand stroller. There are way more affordable strollers like the Graco Verb stroller and the Bravo LE Quick Fold. They are super affordable, and way better than the Mia Moda Atmosferra in terms of features and quality.

And that’s it for a full Mia Moda Atmosferra review! I hope it has provided you with enough information to make your buying decision!
