The new Joovy Groove Ultralight Umbrella Stroller is easy to set, easy to strap your baby in, and easy to fold. Joovy New Groove Ultralight Umbrella Foldable Stroller has a near-flat seat recline, so your baby can take a deep nap for as long as possible and also a bassinet mode to accommodate newborns and children up to 55 lbs. The Groove Ultralight features a new soft brushed fabric that is water resistant and a UPF 50 canopy for sun protection. It also feature an additional parent cup holder making it 2, compared to the older model and upgraded wheels making it easier than before to push and maneuver through narrow spaces. An improved 4-wheel suspension and adjustable footrest makes the ride more comfortable. Two in-seat mesh pockets to keep cutleries, cups, snacks or toys within reach. While the peek-a-boo window allows you to keep an eye on baby at all times. Interestingly when you want to take a stroll in the evenings, the Groove Ultralight stroller has safety reflectors that will illuminate at night. A zippered pocket for your keys, phone and valuables is included. When not in use, the Groove Ultralight folds down easily and is able to stand on its own. It is great for travel weighing less than 14 lbs and includes a carry strap that fits comfortably on your shoulder.

In addition, Joovy Groove Ultralight Stroller is 5 pounds lighter than the original version. It’s one of the very first umbrella strollers to feature a 149 degrees recline, and this is very deep and convenient enough for baby’s long naps. Storage Basket

The basket under the seat is capacious. It can easily accommodate large diaper bag and shopping bags. The seat is mounted high so you can fit big and long items in the basket and have easy access to them. The extra-large storage basket can be said to be a shopaholic’s dream feature for a stroller. The shopping basket is quite impressive in size. The fact that it has the space for a cabin sized luggage bag and yet integrated into the stroller’s easy fold.  For extra storage there’s also a pocket at the back of the seat unit which is big enough to fit a kids game, laptop, phone, etc. 

Extra-large canopy 

Just like the previous model that some parents said was heavier, this model has a very large canopy with two panels. This ensures that children are not exposed to excessive sun rays. The canopy lets you adjust it with respect to the position of the sun. Joovy also included a large peek-a-boo window made of Velcro closure and for increased airflow and to check on your little one to make it an ideal canopy for this type of stroller.

If you’re a tall parent, there’s no need to push a baby stroller that doesn’t conform to your height. But on the other hand, baby strollers manufactured by Joovy now offer ergonomic handlebars which are 41 inches above the ground. This feature is coupled by shoulder straps for ease of transportation, and a fold which has an automatic lock. Convenience while pushing is what you want.

Carry Strap 

The stroller features a carrying strap. So there would be no need to lug this stroller around, as you can easily carry the stroller on a shoulder.

Capacious Seat

The seat of this baby stroller is 14 inches wide, and 26inches from the back of the seat, right to the top of the canopy. The one-hand strap recline system is so efficient. However, just like what happens in other strap recline systems, you’ll have to use both hands to bring the seat back into position. Even in the most upright position, the seat still has some angle variations to enhance comfort. This baby stroller is only meant for kids who are at least 3 months old. The seats, which are equipped with a 5-point harness, can easily recline to a nearly flat position by engaging the gray recline lever at the top of the seat. That said, though they can recline down far, Joovy does not recommend you place babies in the regular seat until they are about 6 months of age. 

Wheels

The wheels are plastic. They measure 4.5 inches in diameter, so they are relatively small. Unfortunately, you shouldn’t roll them on terrain as they only work well on flat surfaces.

Parking Breaks

You can lock the wheels with simple parking breaks located on the top rear of the hind wheels. Even though they aren’t as flip-flop friendly, you could still unlock them so easily even when wearing such shoes.

Easy Fold

Measuring 12.5″ Height x 13″ Width x 40″ Length, this baby stroller will easily fold and fit into any trunk. It was made with portability in mind.

CONCLUSION

The joovy groove stroller’s construction is incredibly durable and supportive, holding a child up to 55 lbs. Unlike some of the other lightweight strollers on the market, the Groove Ultralight frame does not flex inward. I suggest you read the reviews from the other lightweight strollers and you will see that the seats flex in and compress when a heavier child is placed in the seat. Also the canopy of the Groove Ultralight seems unique and outstanding amongst some other lightweight strollers. It offers more protection than almost any other canopy and includes an extendable sun visor, covering the entire seating area.
