The Bugaboo Donkey 2 Mono is the most recent stroller in the Donkey series by Bugaboo. It is a luxury style convertible stroller for both newborns and toddlers for everyday use. It can be transformed from a single to double stroller for up to two kids. It allows you to attach a second seat to the stroller frame for up to two kids.

Bugaboo Donkey 2 Mono Stroller Features
High Customization Option: The first thing you get with the Bugaboo Donkey 2 stroller is the possibility to customize the stroller as much as you can. You get to choose the color of your canopy – up to 12 colors, choose your stroller frame color, and lastly choose your preferred stroller seat fabric. This is a high level of customization you rarely get with strollers on the market.
Convertible Stroller: the Donkey2 stroller is able to convert from a single to double stroller for up to two kids! You can easily attach a second seat to the stroller frame and carry your second child aboard the same stroller. To do this, you just have to replace your side luggage basket with the second seat.
You can also attach up to two car seats or carrycots to the Donkey 2 stroller frame!
Car Seat Compatible: The Bugaboo Donkey 2 stroller is car seat compatible. Using a car seat adapter, you can attach car seats from top brands like Chicco, Maxi-Cosi and Nuna. It is compatible with the popular Pipa, Mico 30, and the Chicco KeyFit car seats. So if you already have one of these car seats, you won’t have to purchase a new one!
Note: the car seat and car seat adapters are not included in the price, so you’d have to purchase them separately!
Carrycot Stroller: Apart from being car seat compatible, the Bugaboo Donkey 2 is also carrycot compatible! You can easily attach the Donkey 2 bassinet to the stroller frame, transforming the Bugaboo Donkey 2 into a nice stylish pram. This gives you even more options for riding the stroller!
As a bonus, the carrycot is already included in the stroller price. You won’t need to purchase it separately!
Newborn Stroller: The Donkey 2 stroller can be used from the birth of your child till they are much older! By replacing the stroller seat with either the carrycot or purchasing an infant car seat, you can easily transform the Donkey 2 into a nice stroller for a newborn. And once your baby is old enough, you can switch back to the stroller seat.
Note: in the double stroller mode, you can carry up to two newborns aboard the same stroller!
Reversible Seat: The Donkey 2 stroller has a nice reversible seat feature that lets you adjust the stroller seat to be either forward or backwards facing. And in the double stroller mode, you can also have both seats facing you or facing outwards – a rare feature for most side-by-side strollers!
This feature gives you even more options for riding the stroller!
Multi-Position Recline: In addition, the stroller seat is able to recline into multiple positions. It has an almost flat recline that lets your baby lay back comfortably. You can have your kid either sitting upright or laying back for a nap!
And in the double stroller mode, you can adjust the recline so both of your babies can interact or play together while out on a stroll. Your babies can keep eachother company while having a nice ride!
Adjustable Footrest: For more comfort, the stroller seat also includes an adjustable footrest that gives your kid some leg support while riding the stroller. This is also great for naps as it is more convenient to not have your kid’s feet dangling while taking a nap.
5-Point Harness: in terms of safety, the stroller seat has a 5-point harness that helps to keep your baby safely strapped to the stroller seat. As babies tend to move around while you’re not paying full attention, the harness makes sure they are safely strapped into the stroller seat during a ride!

Adjustable Handlebar: The Donkey 2 has an adjustable handlebar that lets you adjust the handlebar to the height of the parent using the stroller. The other Con is the weight of the stroller at almost 30 lbs. This is quite heavy compared to most full-sized strollers. And might be harder for smaller parents to carry or maneuver. The stroller is a better fit for parents with cars as you don’t want to lug around a heavy stroller with you.
